trees bought locally. nieces and nephews decorated while my sister and i drank tea. the girls, chatting as we drank, discovered perspective. many baubles were put on. half were taken off again.

thankful thursday

i am part of an extended family and this week i am thankful to have spent time with them ahead of the allotted christmas dates planned and still in the pipeline. i am thankful for cold morning starts and crisp clear blue sky sunshine filled days, savouring every bit of daylight.  i am thankful too to have been in the passenger seat while travelling over the snake pass back to manchester to capture these night time shots, a day of capturing everyday moments was just what i needed.
